BEFORE YOUR HOME MAKES ITS ENTRANCE

A thoughtful start to your home sale.

You do not need to do everything before talking with Kelli. Use this checklist to prepare for a useful conversation—and avoid spending on changes without a plan.

  1. Start with your timing. Write down your preferred move date, what is flexible and what needs to happen before you list.
  2. Gather the facts. Collect available information on improvements, major systems, warranties and property expenses. Note questions or missing records to discuss.
  3. Notice the first impression. Walk up to your entry as a visitor would. List cleaning, lighting or small maintenance items that deserve attention.
  4. Let the rooms breathe. Identify excess furniture or personal items that may distract from the space. Ask Kelli about staging priorities before buying or moving furniture.
  5. Wait before making a major investment. Discuss the likely role of painting, repairs or renovations in your particular market and price range.
  6. Plan for photos and showings. Think about pets, access, daily routines and when the home can be presented comfortably.
  7. Bring your questions. Ask how pricing, photography, video, broker outreach, feedback and negotiation will fit your home’s launch.

This is a preparation guide, not a valuation, inspection or guarantee of a selling outcome.
